Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not directly store credit card numbers or bank account numbers. Stripe collects and processes payment data in accordance with PCI DSS standards. We store transaction references, tip amounts, and payout records.
Customer (Tipper) Information
Customers who leave tips are not required to create an account. We may collect limited information such as an optional name, message, and payment confirmation data provided by Stripe.
Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with our platform, including pages visited, features used, device type, browser, and IP address.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Process and distribute tips to the correct recipients
- Manage your account and provide customer support
- Process payouts to employee bank accounts via Stripe
- Send transactional notifications (tip received, payout processed)
- Improve our platform, fix bugs, and develop new features

- Stripe: Payment and payout processing
- Clerk: Authentication and account management
- Your Employer: Managers and admins at your business can see tip data relevant to their location
